I was surprised that It was able to handle Ultra settings at 4K at 60 fps with overclocking. The fans do a good job at keeping the unit cool. This machine can handle any AAA title at high settings with no compromise to FPS. But playing games with DLLS is where this machine shines. No issues whatsoever. While the battery life leaves a lot to be desired, I got this machine mostly for gaming at home connected to a 1440 monitor. At that task this laptop excels. Happy with this purchase so far. I did get in contact with MSI to send me the hardware needed for the extra SSD M.2 slot. I do not expect this to be an issue..

– Not too heavy. Definitely lighter than the ASUS!
– Not as loud as my ASUS when the fan kicks on
– For the price, it is pretty snappy! I got 1TB of SSD space, and 16GB RAM, and so far, I’ve played games like Starfield at high or higher settings.
– The Gaming Mode is intelligent enough to clock down when the laptop is under light load, and clock up when a game starts, which is niceCons:
– The battery life sucks. I expected that, so I’m not upset about it. Kinda par for the course for gaming laptops
– The screen is 1080p. It looks fine, not the nicest I’ve seen, but it is decent and has a good refresh rate, so it isn’t a *big* deal.
– The fan does get loud when playing game. Once again, I kind of expected that.
– When playing a game, and the fan spins up, the left side of the laptop gets pretty warm, so watch your hand!Overall I am very pleased with this purchase!

For Gaming, at least with the games that I have (Fortnite, Street Fighter V, Battlefield 5 and so) it runs smoothly. The couple of things I don’t like about it are the plastic case material… It’s not bad quality, but it feels cheap, specially the screen case and the touchpad (I have a TUF DASH F15 2022 and the case is plastic too, but it feels “premium”). -Ah and the horrrible MSI Sticker breaks the aesthetic…-And the terrible sound quality… It’s similar to use a the speaker of a mid-range cellphone…

I run this at 1440p @ 144 Hz and play WoW on it with my game settings dialed in at 7 and I hardly dip below 100 fps unless I’m in a raid or a major city. If you need to run 4k I would look into a 4080 laptop but this one runs just fine for me.
